This is a party-sized prepared mix that's loaded full of essence associated with Christmas time, making it ideal for hosting a holiday party. Reserve the remaining syrup for morning drinks, desserts, or to mix more rounds of bikinis.
The Bikini Cocktail
Serves 10 servings
To make the Citrus Syrup (produces 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
For the Premix (produces 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (as made above)
Fresh cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Directions
Making the Syrup: Combine all the components in a pan, heat until it reaches a light boil, agitating until the sugar dissolves. Then, turn off the heat and leave to cool down entirely. Transfer into a sealable bottle, seal and store in the refrigerator, it can be stored for about four weeks.
To make Batch Mix: Combine all the liquids in a big jug, let it rest for 60 minutes, then pass it through best through a fine cloth, making it perfectly clear.
When ready to serve: Add 85ml of your premix to a cocktail shaker packed with ice, gently stirring lightly for a minute until cold. Pour into a cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, decorate with a few cranberries and complete it with a quick spritz of the essential oil over the top.
